DENVER, CO – September 28 - WORTHGROUP Architects & Designers is thrilled to welcome Emelia Jost, NCIDQ, Associate AIA, LEED AP, to the firm as interior designer.
Credentialed by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), the industry’s highest standard of excellence in the practice of interior design, Jost brings to the firm experience and a commitment to design as part of a comprehensive approach to architecture.
In addition to NCIDQ certification, Jost’s architecture background and experience, as well as, her expertise in sustainability design enhances her capabilities and sets her designs apart from the rest. She is also an active member of the Colorado chapter of AIA, NCARB, and USGBC. She holds a bachelor degree in Interior Design from Utah State University (CIDA accredited program) and a Masters of Architecture from UC-Denver.
Most recently, Jost was the lead interior designer at Ricca Design Studios, where she took the lead role in transforming space of culinary, hospitality, higher education, corporate and healthcare projects. A sample of Jost’s most notable projects include the Element Hotel in West Fargo, ND, DeRosa Center in Stockton, CA, CSUN Bamboo Terrace in Northridge, CA, Banner NCMC in Greeley, CO, King Abdullah CCLD in Riyadah, Saudi Arabia, and a TEDX Mile High Art Installation for Architecture for Humanity.
Jost provides WORTHGROUP with more than six years of interior design experience including programming, space planning, branding, 3D visualization, FF&E specification, construction documentation, and administration. She will be collaborating with Jamie Thomas, Director of Interior Design. “We’re delighted to have a design professional like Emelia, whose experience with and enthusiasm for creative collaboration complements our team,” Jamie Thomas notes. “Her expertise and designs reflect the significance we place on the integrity of interior space.”
Jost will be designing for WORTHGROUP’s hospitality, entertainment & gaming, community & public, restaurants, retail, conference, healthcare and industrial projects. “I’m an avid traveler with a love for the world of hospitality and look forward to working on these large scale projects with a variety of program functions,” Jost said. “I’m excited to work with Jamie Thomas, Director of Interior Design because of her fresh and dynamic design approach."
