DENVER, CO, March 5, 2026 – WORTHGROUP Architects & Designers is proud to announce its associate membership with the California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA). This new affiliation underscores WORTHGROUP’s commitment to supporting Tribal sovereignty and the continued economic growth of California’s Tribal gaming industry.

As an associate member, WORTHGROUP joins a community of leaders and peers dedicated to protecting the rights of Tribes to operate gaming enterprises on their own lands. Nicole Scott, WORTHGROUP’s Vice President of Tribal Strategy and Business Development, will represent the firm at CNIGA’s six annual meetings, continuing her long history of working alongside the California Tribal community.

“Becoming part of CNIGA is a natural fit for how we work at WORTHGROUP,” said Nicole Scott. “For years, I have seen how this organization fights for the rights of Tribal Nations. Their focus on advocacy mirrors our own commitment to integrity and trust. We are honored to support a group that ensures Tribal priorities stay at the forefront of the industry, helping communities build a lasting legacy.”

WORTHGROUP is built on a “listening first” philosophy. We ensure every project reflects a Tribe’s unique story, whether we are designing a destination resort, a gaming floor, or a community wellness center. Bryan Hamlin, Partner and Chief Design Officer, believes this membership will further the firm’s ability to create culturally significant spaces.

“Every building we design is an opportunity to tell a Tribe’s story through the land and the structure itself,” said Hamlin. “We look forward to the creative dialogue that this forum fosters, helping us translate each Nation’s heritage into a unique physical environment that honors their past and prepares for their future.”

By joining CNIGA, WORTHGROUP offers California Tribal leaders a collaborator who respects the way Tribal Councils operate and understands the importance of building for future generations. This focus on longevity is a core priority for Travis Bryan, CEO and Principal of WORTHGROUP.

“Our work is about more than aesthetics; it’s about the long-term viability of the Tribal enterprise,” Bryan stated. “Our participation here allows us to stay aligned with the economic goals of California Tribes, ensuring our designs continue to serve as high-performing assets that drive revenue and support community growth.”

“We believe in being present long before a project starts,” Scott added. “Through our involvement in these meetings, we look forward to engaging in real conversations, offering our expertise on how design impacts a community’s future, and supporting the specific goals California Tribes have for their enterprises.”
